A Revival

So... long time no see.

It's been a while, I know I've been a bit of a slacker (underemphasis...) but hey, I'm back and I'm badder than ever. Seeing as though I've been busy with my radio show, my classes (which I'm kickass major ass in apparently), amongst other things, I haven't posted on here. But consider this a revival. So, let's open our mouths and revive this! (Protomen reference is Protomen reference.)

First off, I have some shit to rip on:

Team Fortress II:

I started playing this game again recently, and I have to say I've fallen in love all over again. I was playing Mann vs Machine mode and it was a wicked good time. Although you get the occasional asshats who fuck up and do it wrong, of course fucking up your whole game, but usually the Team Fortress community is good about Mann vs Machine, and you have a generally good time. That's all on that.

The Game Fucking Hates You:

Blogging about my own Let's Play... Yes, I'm that meta my friends. Well, although I took an extended break from it and I should feel wicked terrible about it, I ave picked up my slack and have decided to hop back on the ball on that one. (I would've done it tonight but I had an appointment, sorry loyal fans, I fucked up once more.) It's been a fun ride of madness about Expert Emerald, and I'm hoping to reach to point where I can do 20 minute vidya's so I don't have to stop in weird spots (Or, am less likely too.)

Okay, now comes the big reviews...

The Coheed and Cambria Afterman Albums:

Well. Here goes nothin.

Me personally, I favor the Ascension album. This is an unpopular opinion apparently, but hey, it's mine and I'm sticking to it. I personally favor it because of the Key Entity Extraction songs. Yes, I know, Key Entity Extraction V: Sentry The Defiant is on Descension, I heard that a million times, but, I still feel like Ascension is better. It got into the story of Sirus Amory pretty damn good (even though Descension did too) but, Ascension got into the sort of, sibling rivalry that Sirus had with Domino. And then I really enjoyed the Rhythm of Holly Wood the Cracked. And pretty much all of the songs on Ascension. Although.... I have to say, Dark Side of Me and Number City were amazing songs too, I have to say. All in all, I loved both of them, but I still like Ascension more than Descension. Sorry guys, it's just my opinion.

Now for the BIGGER review!

The New Kamelot Album - Silverthorn:

Silverthorn... oh Silverthorn. I came upon the lovely Silverthorn in Newbury Comics for a mere 16 bucks. You might think, oh, a mere CD for 16 bucks, oh Bropei you crazy, but, deal with this feel: It was the limited edition box set. Now, I was under the impression that I'd never see the limited edition Silverthorn let alone own it. Let alone for more than half the average asking price. The limited edition Silverthorn comes with a few nice things: It's the CD, the Instrumental CD (which had two extra songs, mind ye folk), a story book (which we'll talk about in a bit) AND a poster of the band, which by the way is really cool. The model on the album art is probably one of the most attractive women I've ever seen, the album itself is masterpiece and probably their best. It was pretty feelsy once you got a hang of the story by listening to the songs, but once you read the included story book, good Odin is it dark...
Now the story book took me by surprise. I thought it was merely going to be a picture book with very few words, but, it was a full fledged story with all the good story elements we all know and love. It got dark really quickly. There was no real 'Happy Period' to look at. Nope. Not even once. Straight to the nitty gritty within the first two pages, and that was good, I liked it. However, we're talking of the music. The music itself was within power metal roots, with powerful vocals and fast paced instruments and such, and it still embedded a message too. It's a wonderful thing.

Well. My reviewing power has been shortened, but hey, whatever. It's totally fine!

So, as per usual, you know this is The End Complete, and you guys can comment below with stuff you want reviewed, or talked about, or whatever have you. Well. Au Reviour!
